it's the first of December! i don't have much new to say, wanted to put up a Facebook post from three years ago. Yvonne has drifted away from knitting club and now i'm wondering where she is. Hopefully, somewhere new, telling people how to get Jesus in their middles, too :)
Just came home from knitting club at the library. For several weeks, a lady named Yvonne has been struggling mightily to understand the basic knit stitch. Not only is knitting new to her, she is new to this country from Venezuela. She talks herself through" in, between, through, off" over and over again. Tonight, after 45 minutes, she put her work down, looked up at the other ladies in the room and asked if we had "Jesus in our middles". She then proceeded to go through the basics of salvation, broken English and all. I want to be like Yvonne when I grow up: ) happy advent, all!
